You should be able to contact FTP and get them to close your account. Since you never made a real money deposit, the other affiliate never got credit for your account and you should be able to close it and then reopen one with Progrinders with little issue.

Ok thanks Mr H I'll try that.

One more question.
I opened up a PokerHeaven acc with you too,in November, but have fallen short of the €100 rake needed every time. Is this the only site that does this?
Or is there a minimum in most rooms?

A minimum is very rare.

I tried as above but this is the response I recieved:

Unfortunately, you are not linked to the affiliate in question. Since your account has already been created, you will not be able to take advantage of this particular bonus offer. The referral code has to be entered when creating the account. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Though Im not sure what they mean by:
Though you could cease using your account, we do not remove it from our system, nor do we freeze accounts in order for players to create new ones.

So are they saying I have to pay some affiliate I never knew for life?
Do you know a way round this at all?
Seems dumb to me as I havnt ever played there and want to send them some money but they are not keen to accomodate me.

We agree that the policy is terrible, but we can't seem to get them to see the light. We know that some people have gotten accounts for their wife, brother, mom, roommate etc., but obviously we can't recommend it because it's against the rules. We just pay the account and if someone did get an account in another person's name through ProGrinders we wouldn't want to know about it... Don't ask, don't tell...

You can hassle FTP all day, but lots of people have done that and it gets you nowhere.
