Well as you guys probably know, I made the most of my rare appearance on the live circuit, going deep at Foxwoods and chopping the Borgata 1500 deepstack...w00t.
Have some time to spend on some videos and other pxf projects, so I will get on those before going on vacation at the end of the year.

Had a real exciting run at Foxwoods in the Main event and eventually made the money which was fun...Also made a real deep run in the ftops last night only to lose AA vs JJ for the whole pile but oh well....
There is alot of content in the works which I have been putting off while I did some mtt recording etc, and I am looking forawrd to finishing it up and getting it online...

Fighting the usual battles of time management and family vs business life, attempting to squeeze in a wcoop event somewehre somehow. Should be able to play at least the later events this Sunday.
Borgata Main event is in a few weeks, and I have obtained permission to play it...

I played a very rare Tuesday mtt session this week and got 2nd in the 100rb, and it is making for a very good video. The combination of tactical and strategic concepts is something I have alluded to many times but haven't had alot of practical examples of it recently...

Back when I used to teach the bar exam for a living, the summer was by far my busiest time, and once the last review class was given 10 days or so before the bar exam, it marked the end of a very VERY busy summer, and I always needed a minimum of 2 weeks to decompress...

Videowise I have been extremely busy, completing a full replayer video of the 2nd place finish in the ub 1k, and also doing 3 abuse videos of subscribers, which should be very instructive for all.

So I played a ftp turbo double shootout for a wsop "seat" and ended up beating a subscriber heads up in pretty brutal fashion to get the win, and I feel crappy:(
I offered him the opportunity to send his hh in and I will do a video of the whole thing with both of our cards exposed and he says he is thinking about it...

Did a 38472647863421 hour live session wed night which resulted in a real deep run in the ftops....should be fun.
Also won my wsop seat through the step system and will be recording that shortly........

Did a bunch of live sng sessions which were alot of fun, and will get into some iof the mtt backlog I have had piling up.....
Also I will get back to that 2k sng as well, and the zillions of other things I have in my head.
Haven't been playing really, been relegated to a few days a week max due to family stuf but its alll good...

I played some sngs in the last 2 days before I left for AC though...As you know my brain is fried and I dont play too much anymore aside from when I want to do some material for pxf...

and I played a real sick tourney on my first night back, getting 2nd in the UB deepstack.....
The guy who got 3rd, monsterdong, is a complete and utter beast and made my life a living hell the whole time. It made for an incredibly iunteresting final table and I cannot wait to do the video...

I have heard your voices.....and there is a new sng series in the works.
It will be a multipart series where we go through a 2k sng, and then go back through many many hands and analyze the crap out of them.
I do not think I have run into a sng with so many borderline/difficult decisions for many of the players in quite some time, so we are going to have a lot of fun with this one...

There is another guy named Eric Haber who is from France who plays from time to time. He introduced himself to me at Bellagio and showed me his passport...

I have finished 6 parts of the new lecture series and have gotten through the part on exploitative play as it applies to 6m stacks from varying positions.
I havent decided whether I will be doing the optimal play part of 6m or moving onto other m and sticking with exploitative play...

Ok I am motivated by the development of the tools I have made available and I am beginning a very long lecture series on 20bb play, optimal play, exploitative play etc....
It is really not for the beginning player so be warned, but even beginning players will enjoy it if they have some math background...

I have been spending a carload of time trying to make my spreadsheets, which I have used in many video lectures, into a format which is semi useable so pxf subscribers can take advantage of them.
I am happy to say that they are now available to subscribers (see links in your pxf my account area)...

Day 1 for me began as most big main events begin for me.....with a long trip to the venue on absolutely no sleep.....
As the cards were going to be in the air at high noon Vegas time, my day 1 begins in Linkoping with a 430 am wakeup call from my 6 yo, with his customary request for god knows what, depriving me of the 5th hour of sleep I so needed before catching the car to the airport to the plane to the cab to the Rio...

However, when you are trapped in the poker room and in the hotel for 15 hours a day, it is nice to go someplace a bit remote to decompress...

So my run at the wsop prelims was officially a bust.....
Event 1 was the nl 1500 shootout and I went out 8th without really getting anything going.....
Next was the plo 1500 which I was really looking forward to as I have really ramped up my plo game, but flopping the nuts twice led to my early exit////
The 2k lhe was reamkrable uneventful as well, and I didn't make the dinner break...

So I am going to go out for a few side events at the wsop again.....
I usually make decent runs in these, despite them being incredible crapshoots as far as structure is concerned. One hour levels and blinds starting at 25/50 is pretty nasty for the 1500/2k events as you only start with double the buyin in chips...

Just wanted to check in....
I know I havent been arounf the last few weeks all too much, but I just wanted to let you know that May is going to be a month where I dedicate a great deal of time to putting up some new content.
There will hopefully be something for everyone, from sng material, more reshove math etc, sub tourney reviews, sheetsicantwin contest videos, live seesions, and some of the mtts I have done well in of late...

So Mrs sheets gave permission for 4 days of prelims at the Bellagio, and the trip started in true sheets fashion....
After sweating the sunday tourneys until 3 am, I got around 3 hours of sleep and went to the airport to catch an 8 am flight, which arrived in Vegas at 11 am Pacific, in plennnnnty of time for the 2600 which started at noon...
