Finally a Pro Deal
Tuesday, November 3rd 2009 9:28 pm

I've wanted to find a site to work with for a few years now, and after close calls with a few sites recently, I've finally worked out a deal with the new Poker Pros Network. The .net site launched a few days ago, and my tables are now up on the site so that you can come check out the software and play for play money with me for the next few weeks while we wait for the launch of the .com in the next month or so.

You can download the client directly - HERE - if you want to try it out and come join me at the tables.

This network looks like it has a lot of potential and they are involving us pros in the process of building the site so we can help them get things set up right and create a site we can all be proud of. The software is a little raw right now, but it's getting better every day and the play is fast and smooth. I'll be at the tables helping test the software and talking to anyone who wants to drop by and play a few hands. Anyone who downloads through my link above can drop by for free lessons when I'm at the tables at the .com site in a month or two. I plan to hang out at the tables every night for an hour or two and have a place for students and PXF members to drop by and ask questions about whatever games they are working on.

Joining me on the network are pros like Kenna James, Young Phan, Krazy Kanuck, Paul Darden, Barbara Enright, T.J. Cloutier and Amir Vahedi. There are some solid names in the list, and I think this thing might really take off.

As a promo, anyone who signs up through my link above will be entered in to a raffle to win a one hour lesson. Each week I will also pick a winner for some free stuff from my desk drawer. That's right, you can win my stuff. Currently in the drawer - a poker remote control, two pairs of poker sunglasses, a few poker books and other stuff that companies have sent me in hopes that I will review it. The winner each week will get their pick from the list. Mostly I just want to get lots of people to download through my link right away so I have some pull in the company and we can get the tourney schedule and cash game structures that we want. If they see that I can bring people in, then they will definitely pay attention to my advice on the development of the software.

For now you can just download the software, it takes 30 seconds, and drop by the tables and say hi and give me your impression of the software. I'll be sitting at the tables dishing out free advice if you have questions and getting your impressions about the software which I will relay to the development team to be included in the updates in the coming weeks. This is a chance to be part of the development of the network and the software, and when this thing is huge in a year or two you'll have software that you really like because you got in early and helped to shape the software in the early stages.

I'm also taking suggestions on a topic for tomorrow's Wednesday Webinar since I can't come up with anything off the top of my head tonight.

Joining through me will not stop any promotions. If rakeback is ever allowed on the network I will definitely make sure that all my people get it.

Congrats chris. The site doesn't look bad, certainly better software than iPoker network from what I've seen in a few minutes.

I agree with all those things, and am hoping to have a video up soon, though I don't know where to put it. I may have to put it on my lessons page or something.

grats on the signing. a live video, or a voice-over of a live recording, would be a good way to get players there imo without them having to download to get a look at the software, even though the .com hasn't launched yet.

suggestion: have them put up some screenshots of the software on their website.
