A somewhat brief update

February thus far has been a pretty laid back month as far as anything blog-worthy is concerned. I have been focusing mainly on my training for The Tough Mudder which has been going strong thus far. I have ultimately decided to go through with the race even though my sister's wedding is the night before. I will pace myself and drink lots of water/gatorate during and after the wedding. Plus the Tough Mudder is more a just get it done type race rather than a competition therefore I can take my time and allow my team to help push me through if I am struggling.

I am trying to take my training and my eating more seriously as well. I had a good talk this weekend with my sister about how I can be eating better and what other workouts I can incorporate into my training. After Tough Mudder I want to at least look into crossfit trainnig since tough mudder will put me in a good position to get started into that. Does anyone have any experience with crossfit and any potential advice for it?

I have taken a small break from writing songs due to a lack of direction, motivation, and inspiration. I scheduled another guitar lesson with Antoine Dufour in early March to hopefully clear up these issues and get me going again. Also my sister wants me to play guitar in her wedding namely"Here Comes the Bride" which I have agreed to do. I found a video and a tab of a more elegant version so I suppose I could be working on that in the meantime until I decide to write another song of my own.

Last but not least I mentioned in a prior blog that I will be playing actual poker in March as well. I have put some money onto Merge and am awaiting their upcoming tournament series to get started. I hope to have some deep runs and some good hands to talk about. I will either make a video if it goes well or just blog about what went down.
