Wedding Trip Report
Thursday, May 10th 2012 1:59 pm

Okay, now that things have finally calmed down a bit I can everyone up to speed on the latest things going on in my life. I had written a few blogs about my concerns regarding the wedding and the tough mudder and I must say everything went down about as well as possible.

The weekend of the wedding was pretty hectic though I must say. Since I own a big car (Acura MDX) I did most of the driving. With the venue being in Philadelphia a good amount of that driving was through the city. My duties included carting people around, airport pickups, and carrying of all sorts of boxes. Also I was asked by my sister to play guitar during the ceremony, including "Here Comes the Bride" as she walked down the aisle, as well as a couple songs while people got seated.

I prepared fairly diligently and was definitely ready when the time came. I actually over-prepared songs and was caught in an incorrect tuning for when my sister began walking down the aisle. Fortunately my cousin helped tune my backup guitar into standard tuning and all was well. The songs went well and I recieved a lot of nice comments throughout the rest of the night about my playing.

Since I had to get up at 6am for the tough mudder I decided it best to really limit my drinking on the night. I had maybe 2 drinks total at the beginning of the reception and then cut myself off completely. This actually worked out just fine for everyone else too since we needed a DD to get back home. The rest of the night consisted of dancing, being to hot so walking around and talking to people, and dancing again. Overall her wedding went off flawlessly and I couldn't be happier for her and her husband.

Since nothing crazy happened and this writeup has been fairly dull I will include a few pics from the wedding. Enjoy :)

included her are my two sisters, my mom, myself, and my sisters husband Johnny.
